Mr.
Wolf was born in Vulcan, a small town in the Transylvania
Province of Romania in 1923. When he was seven he moved to
Cleveland, Ohio. He has since taught in 15 colleges in a number
of countries including Iran, Israel, Hawaii, and mainland U.S.
and has written many books. The courses that he taught most
frequently were creative writing, poetry, and Chaucer. As a
translator of both French and Yiddish his most fun project was
translating Winnie the Pooh into Yiddish.
